The First Saturday Mass on October 3, normally at St. Mary's, will be held at St. Lawrence Church due to the Farmer's Fair Parade. Fr. Maurice DeLange will have Confession at 8:30 AM and Mass at 9:00 AM. Thank you for your understanding!
NEW BIBLE STUDY FORMING:
Join our new year of Bible studies on Wednesday mornings at St. Lawrence, held in the lower level of the church beginning at 10:00 am.
This is an 11-week study of "The Prophets, Messengers of God's Mercy" presented by Ascension Press. Who are the prophets, what was their message and what do they have to do with us?

Life Chain 2026 - October 4th – Respect Life Sunday
The Knights of Columbus and all Pro-Life Christians are asked to participate in the U.S. and Canada Life Chain 2026 on October 4th , which is Respect Life Sunday. There will be TWO Life Chain events this year.
Both events will be held after Mass at the following two parishes:
1) First event will be held after the 9:15 Mass at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. The Life Chain will be between 10:30 and 12 noon along US-50 between Walnut and High Street.
2) The second event will be held after the 11am Mass at St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross Parish from approximately 12:30 until 2pm. The event will be on Stateline Road across from the McDonald’s in Bright, IN.
Knights of Columbus, Respect Life members and all Pro-Life Christians will be standing together in solidarity. Life Chain IS NOT political or confrontational. Life Chain is a silent prayer vigil by Christians to communicate their belief in Life in opposition to abortion. Participants prayerfully display CHOOSE LIFE signs.
James 2:26 tells us that “Faith without Work is Dead”. If we believe LIFE is more important than taking a LIFE, let’s take action and be a part of Life Chain 2026.

Help Us Feed the Faith—Provide a Meal for 412 Youth Ministry!
Our 412 Youth Ministry—named for 1 Timothy 4:12—brings together teens in grades 8–12 from St. Lawrence, St. Mary, St. Teresa, and All Saints on the first and third Thursdays of each month from 6:30–8:00 p.m. and almost all dates are held at St. Lawrence.
Each gathering includes a meal, prayer, games, and faith-filled conversation. Through 412, teens grow in faith, gain confidence to live and defend Church teachings, and form holy friendships. No teen remains a guest for long – our young people warmly embrace everyone who comes – and mealtime certainly helps in building community.
Would you, your family, or your parish group provide dinner for approximately 25 teens? Simple meals are best: tacos, pasta, burgers, soup, chili, a baked potato bar, salad with protein, or even a gift card for pizza. A gluten-free option is needed.

ACTIVE MILITARY: HELP US HONOR THOSE WHO CURRENTLY SERVE
Our three parishes are updating their military appreciation efforts. We are collecting the names, branches, and ranks of active-duty military personnel who are parish members or immediate family members of parishioners. Please email this information to Donna Sabo at donnasabo@dccatholics.com
For St. Teresa parishioners: We also plan to display photos of our active-duty military members in a shadow box-style display. Please submit a 4x6 photo to the CONNECT Ministry as you arrive at church. Write the person's name and rank on the back. Real-Time Miscarriage and Stillbirth Support
If you are facing a 1st trimester miscarriage at home, pick up a free miscarriage kit from the Parish Office or the outdoor box located at the old Rectory at St. Lawrence. This is the house that is located at 526 Walnut Street, Lawrenceburg, IN, between the church and the school. Miscarriage kits are delivery aids from Heaven's Gain Ministries with instructions on how to identify your baby for dignified burial and measure blood loss to report to your medical provider as needed.
For non-medical help, call or text Heaven’s Gain’s National Pregnancy Loss Hotline (513-888-4200 8am to midnight), email applhotline@heavensgain.org, or visit heavensgain.org. Heaven’s Gain can help you create a miscarriage or stillbirth birth plan (virtually or in-person), provide free peer support calls, and include you in free virtual monthly support groups. Additionally, Heaven’s Gain ships pregnancy loss supplies nationwide, including affordable baby burial caskets, baby urns, and memorial items.

Safety Plan for all churches
We as a parish are always thinking about safety during Mass and other parish functions and ways to improve. Given the tragedies in the past and horrific violence that we have seen, it has been an even bigger focus to communicate a clear safety plan for all Masses. Inside each of your hymnals, you will find an emergency response plan. This plan outlines what to do here in church in case of an emergency — including a fire, tornado, or an active threat. We hope, of course, that we will never need these procedures, but it is important that we are prepared and know how to respond quickly and calmly if needed. So, please take a few moments to review the emergency response plan in the hymnal.
We are looking for parishioners who are willing to serve as ushers or greeters in a special way. This is not only about welcoming people to Mass and taking attendance, but also about being extra aware of safety. Ushers will receive some training and have a few small tasks at the start of each Mass. We are asking for just a once-a-month commitment — not every Sunday.
Men- let's make this happen! If you feel called to help in this ministry of hospitality and safety, please contact the parish office this week. We will be posting this reminder on a quarterly basis.
